well, here we go...it s been 2 weeks since we did the move to another state. Queensland has already welcomed us with sunny days and 27 degrees winter days. lisa and I are living on her parents farm for a few weeks until our house is finished building.
it is such a big change of rythm between busy Bondi and the back country of noosa. beautiful though!!!

last weekend Lisa, myself and bob decided to leave the smoky eastern suburbs of sydney to spend a relaxing 2 days at my bosses beach house on the sand in culburra, south coast. watching the waves from your bed and witnessing the beauty of nature through dolphins surfing a 3 foot swell is definetly an amazing experience.

australia is incredibly beautiful...we tend to forget it! so last week end, my mate Jungle joel and myself took a little 2 day trip down south...we slept in the van in front a beautiful point hoping for clean peelers in the morning....we woke up to the magic sound of 4 footers unravelling in front of our sleepy eyes.

man, Dain "the man" Thomas just shipped my freshly crafted board. no need to tell you i felt like a school girl at a bonjovi gig when it arrived home. i had no idea what the stick was gonna look like since Dain had made a point to keep it secret. i new it was going to be a DT model, cos' that s what i'd asked for, but i was a bit curious to know what colours i was gonna end up with.
well, i got so stoked when i saw the beast that even its blue-lolly colour looked awesome...hence its name: the big blue fat whale cock.

here s a quick update...since i have started as a studio coordinator for mondo studios in sydney, i feel like i don t have a spare minute to do any personnal stuff. in fact i don t have a spare minute. briefly what happened lately: 2 trips to byron and crescent head, done some graphics for waxa surfboards, been walking bob like mad, done more graphics, shot some ralph lauren, oroton, and heaps more....but no time....got to go.

my mate Scott "WAXA" Robinson just finished a new log. the only thing is he can't even try it since he got under the knife for a bad shoulder a month ago...tough luck! even worse: i can't try it either because he won t let me. anyway...it was great fun doing the artwork and his new log series logo. can't wait to try this bad boy (the beast is 9'7" and 23 wide!).

WELL WELL WELL...it's a late update but still good nonetheless.
the loggos includin jungle joel, waxa and myself flew our way north a month or so ago to shred some quality peelers in noosa and around the sunshine coast. we spent a total of 4 days up there and had a flipping ball. when i say 'we' i mean jungle and i cos' waxa who had just dislocated his shoulder a few days prioir to our departure didn't put a toe in the water...well at least he managed to hold a camera and graced us with some pretty funky shots...big thanx to jungle joel and scott waxa robinson for the shots. enjoy loggerheads and fishy freaks....

and another trip away...this week: byron bay. shit weather, amazing waves. i got belongil, the pass, the wreck, main beach and clarks on fire. glassy and barreling out of this world. an interesting shark sighting on the last session at main beach. and the news that a young boy got killed the same day by a bull shark in ballina. creepy. add to this a beautiful photo sess at lennox with Rasta. my custom waxa single fin worked a treat and allowed us to grab numerous barrels on offer. this place is incredible.

what a beauty today in bondi...perfect skies and shreddable log waves....los loggos crew member Joel"jungle" Coleman graced us with his swimming presence in the line up and got a few beautiful shots...here are a few samples.
next week, the los loggos crew will be enjoying the 3-4 ft that Noosa has on offer at the moment...can' t bloody wait.

last week, my lovely wife and i went for a quick weekender up on the sunshine coast. we drove the old lady around and scored some epic waves at first point noosa. i just took one photo of the waves because of course, when it's good, no time for photos.

A couple weeks ago, i decided to take the old lady for a drive up north to Queensland. the final destination was to be Noosa, or 1000 kilometres north of sydney to be more precise. i invited my two compadres Shmoo and lexos for this road trip. we didn t get much swell on the way up, but completed our mission without a problem in sight. the old lady did what she's doing best and led us all the way to it's new home. last week-end, lisa and i joined a few mates down south for Nick's birthday. we were renting this gorgeous house on the cliffs at hyams beach. we even went for a small wave on saturday to caves beach i the boderee national park. we were the only four on the beach. lisa even caught her first wave...she was stoked.

SHIT WEATHER....WE RE OFF TO SAMOA....
yeah, the sydney weather is that bad it s not funny...it s been 3 weeks of non stop hellish rain and storm, so lisa and i are off to samoa tomorrow. we should land in a welcoming 30 degrees and crystal clear waters and this view from our little shack on the sand.

on a saturday morning last month 2 of my mates and i packed the valiant reagal V8 and headed south to coledale where we had a ball for 2 days. camping on the beach, surfing from morning to sunset and rocking the local RSL were the highlights.
